Assessment is officially OVER yesterday.. a tense up day i could say... beginning firstly on the 19th alot of things that display bad omens started to get me even more worried...

first bad omen: 19th july.. after finishing dinner with my parents coz dad's bday.. and getting all the things i need for tml assessment i tot i could get started to do my preparation at home.. but then who could have expected i left my teacher's toolbox in the centre and it was too late to retrieve it.. guess what.. every single pencil or stationery i have is all inside the toolbox.. so yup.. luckily it was still early so i went to pioneer mall and get some back up stationery..

second bad omen: next.. when i was cutting the crepe papers... i cut myself with the scissors...
so yup.. prepared everything, double checking and checking... making sure i have everything with me.. slept at nearly 2am..

20th july... the day itself... woke up at 7am.. to again check and making sure i have everything with me... yup.. tot everything was fine till the 3rd bad omen occurs: i bang my foot against my gate when i was stepping out of the house.... due to all these really makes me worried...

reached centre... put up all my things.. the teachers and the aunties were very nice to me... keep asking if i am feeling too stress up not and said not to worry.. i could do it.. was really happy though i wasnt there for long.. but this show that i have a gd relationship with the staffs there.. so yup.. my class teacher was nice too.. keep helping me check my activities and the constant warning to the children that they should behave well infront of mr philip when he comes.. she too help me brought some animals figurines toys to display in my learning corners... then at 3pm, teacher zalina, my mentor dropped by to help me do a final check on everything...

children woke up at 3pm too.. eating their high tea and i begin to gather them down at 330pm expecting philip to arrive already but not.. so i took my chance to reinforce my rules to the children and keep on repeating the expected behaviours i want to see in them.. philip arrive at 4pm...

shall not go deep in to the details of the lesson.. everything went on smoothly, the children are more attentive than usual and i manage to drill in the rules into them.. however, a incident happened that i tot could ruin my assessment turn out to help me..

Meng Yuen was suppose to follow me to continue with the follow-up activity art.. but he run towards the english corner... when i insisted that he should follow me.. he threw the toy on the floor and storm away.. winston went over to pick it up but i told him that i would like Meng Yuen to do it instead.. so yup.. i made Meng Yuen to come picked it up and put it nicely in to the cupboard.. he did it angrily and went off again to a table and sat there started sulking and crying... i went over to him and manage to calm him down, having him join back the class..

having this incident made me panick that instant as i thought i wouldnt know how i would handle.. but in the end philip said that he like the way i insisted Meng Yuen to pick up the toys and have it return to where it belongs...

overall comments were relatively good.. he said my learning corners were fine but slightly plain.. activities inside were appropriate and the lesson carried out were organized... he said i need to smile more and maybe i was too tense up that day to share my smiles.. overall he see the potential of a teacher in me... so i guess everything was fine? hahahah... but the last sentence he said was the one i truely felt relieved and happy was, "congratulations, u can go ahead and celebrate right now!" wheeeeee!!


hahahahaa.. went home after that... parents were waiting for the news on how i did... and after letting them know everyone was happy for me.. hehehex...

he arrived at 8pm with all the ingredients outside my door.. my whole family was home and he was so shy that he was perspiring like mad.. lolx.. made him come in and he headed straight to the kitchen hiding.. and getting down to work... first time a guy alone ever comes to my house.. and even started cooking in my kitchen... lol.. you wouldnt let me help saying i would mess up more.. so i sat there quietly looking at you preparing and cooking which truely impress me... maybe that's becoz it is the first time i see a guy doing cooking that seriously? hahahha.. anyway i snapped a photo of you cooking without you realising.. hahahha! ok.. so he brought too much ingredient and so my whole family get to taste what he prepared, meatball spagetti and fish&chip... it was nice.. good feedbacks but still need improvements..

after that we were planning to go prawn fishin but decided to go watch harry potter instead.. yup.. book tickets online... lolx.. and yes DEBRA POH! it was him toking to you last night.. i din even know it till awhile later.. and you also very smart.. u cant see the difference in the style of toking?! lolx! booked 1130pm at vivocity...

not a good harry potter movie i guess... not up to my expectation maybe becoz i read the book... fell aslp inside the theater.. lolx... by the time the movie ends was 2am.. we headed to west coast mac have some drinks.. reached home at 330am...

thanks for being there when i was so worried over my supervision.. the constant assurance that you gave me everything will be fine.. and giving me confidence.. then doing all the shopping for ingredients to preparing them.. as a way to help me celebration really touches my heart..

let nature takes it own course.. =))
